Everything I get to do when it relates to Godbeat.com is enjoyable. There’s all the fun locations, the amazing Christian artist and all the screaming fans. However, there is a few things I enjoy more then others, one being getting to hear new, young, Christian talent. To see the excitement in their eyes and the fresh approach they have. It is all very real and very raw… I just love it! These new artist are performing for the love of their God and the love of the music. It’s the innocents in what they are doing is that makes it so enjoyable. Lucky for me and Godbeat.com that Riley Erin came our way.
Riley and I had a few conversions through, of all things, Twitter. Riley directed me to her Myspace page where I found a young lady with a soulful, powerful voice. Little did we know how young she actually is! Woah!!! You will have to watch the video to find out!
Riley was coming to Nashville to meet with a couple record labels and to get some feed back on her up and coming career. We were able to meet up with her at the World Famous Jacks BBQ on Broadway. This video is of part of our meeting. So, instead of me typing a story, lets let Riley tell you the story on her own.
The first part of this video is Riley Erin singing “Enough”. Yes, all the teenager in her comes out in this song, a song she wrote based on experiences at a camp she had attended. The second half is our interview with Riley.

RILEY IS AN AMAZING ARTIST AND AN OVERALL AMAZING PERSON. I LOVE HOW SHE REMINDS OUR GENERATION THAT WE NEED TO STAND UP AND BE MUCH MORE THAN WHAT THE WORLD TELLS US WE ARE. Riley is a fantastic artist and person. Although a young person she has a mature heart for true worship that sometimes takes a life to accomplish. Keep singing and writing for his honor and glory!

It is so wonderful to see Riley represent her generation and setting an example for what she believes in, not just by her words but most importantly by her actions. We love her music! My 6 yr old sings it all the time. God Bless you Riley! Keep Rocking out for God!We love you!
