Jason Eaton: What first started as singing in church services quickly blossomed into the Swartz Creek, Michigan-bred hopeful earning a degree in Music Education at Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, Illinois. From there, Eaton found himself on stage as a soloist with the Thurlow Spur productions of Concert Ministries International, playing the lead role in the musical “David, A Man After God’s Own Heart” (written by Cam Floria, head of the Continental Singers) and subsequently appearing on “The 700 Club” with Pat Robertson.
Jason is receiving significant radio play from Texas to New York. Just coming off opening several shows for Big Daddy
Weave, Jason is fast becoming a artist recognized for his ablity to connect with an audience. The journey to Jason Eaton’s full time pursuit of faith-based artistry came as a result of various life circumstances, doors opening and divine revelations that indicate an anointing extending far beyond his heavenly tenor range.
The singer/arranger/songwriting/worship leader originally came to Christ as a teenager during an emotional altar call that not only found the youngster handing over every aspect of his life to the Lord, but fostering an undeniable passion towards a musical calling currently fostered in the EP Nothing Back (hitting stores, iTunes and other digital retailers on Feb. 13th).
Pittsburgh is known as the “Steel City,” home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, steel bridges and even sometimes nerves of steel. That was the case when Pittsburgh’s own, Robert Mauti, made his debut stage performance in front of a congregation on Pittsburgh’s West side at just the tender age of six. At age 13, Robert made his first radio performance as a special guest for the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. During his teenage years, Robert attended a music festival in the neighboring state of Ohio. That would be a defining moment in Robert’s life — when he first realized he would like to have a career in music.
Just one year ago, Robert made the difficult decision to give up his thriving business in Pittsburgh and move to
Music City to pursue his calling. Shortly after arriving, Robert auditioned and landed a spot with Nashville’s Soul Choir. During his time with the choir, he has had the opportunity to perform with Amy Grant, Steve Green, Point of Grace and Bill Gaither.
Robert’s new radio single, “Here In Your Presence” features Rachael Lampa & John Katina. He’s was runner-up for Gospel Music Channel’s “Gospel Dream” television show, and recently sang backup for Chris Tomlin’s upcoming Christmas CD. Robert’s song, “Loving You” has been featured on Country Music Television’s “Can You Duet?” show.
